Akanksha’s session during golden hour is one of my favorites to date! Akanksha and I have been friends since preschool, and I am so glad we have stayed in touch through so many years! Every time we get a chance to see each other, we seem to always pick up right where we left off 😊

Akanksha’s session took place during a beautiful summer sunset. We got very lucky with the weather- not too hot, and no surprise thunderstorms! And bonus- I got no mosquito bites from this session (I learned my lesson after getting bitten 11 times from another golden hour session… so I heavily sprayed bug spray this time!).

Akanksha’s session was my first time shooting in this location, and we spent about ten minutes walking and searching for the perfect spot. In the end, we found simple nature-focused backdrops with some of the most dreamy lighting! In addition, Akanksha selected a lovely outfit, and we were able to experiment with a variety of sitting poses!
