Joyous Mehendi Function

Neeha and Raunak’s 1920s Great Gatsby-themed murder mystery bridal shower was such an unforgettable event, so I was beyond excited to capture their mehendi celebration! This was the first mehendi I’ve ever photographed, and I’m so grateful to Neeha’s sister, Niveda, for answering all my questions and helping me feel fully prepared for the big day!

When I arrived, Neeha was just finishing up her mehendi, which made for some amazing, up-close shots. Their outdoor deck was beautifully adorned with vibrant, colorful décor, and photographing it was a dream—especially as the sun set and twinkling lights created a magical atmosphere. Just like at the bridal shower, the attention to detail was remarkable, and it was clear how much thought they put into every element.

After photographing their bridal shower, I already knew how lively and fun their friends and family were, so capturing the group shots was an absolute joy. Not only was everyone super cooperative, but they also got creative with their own pose ideas—the “Christian Rock Band” prompt had us all laughing! Somehow, this group turned their formal photos into so much fun!
