It’s been an incredible year of photographing love stories! I’ve been especially lucky to capture two special bridal events for Neeha and Raunak in the past few weeks.

Neeha’s sister, Niveda, and I have known each other for a few years—we were in the same 10th-grade English class and even took organic chemistry together in college! This past August, Niveda reached out to me on Instagram to see if I was available for event photography, and I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph Neeha and Raunak’s bridal shower and mehendi!

During the early planning stages for the bridal shower, Niveda mentioned that the bridal shower would be a 1920’s Great Gatsby-themed murder mystery dinner party. Let me tell you—everyone was all in! Guests arrived in fun costumes, completely committed to their characters, making it feel like we had all stepped back in time. When I first arrived, I was greeted by a baseball player, someone in a red top hat, and another in a fancy suit, and for a moment, I thought I had the wrong address! The attention to detail was absolutely stunning, from the costumes to the decor and even the food, all perfectly matching the theme.
