I had been looking forward to this session for so long — and it did not disappoint! Jess, Seo, and I had been talking about their grad photos for nearly a year, and when the day finally arrived, it felt like such a full-circle moment. I actually took both of their headshots back in 2024, and since then, we’ve worked together on a Midyear poster that brought us even closer. Getting to do this session was my little way of saying thank you — for the memories, the laughter, and just being the kind of people who can bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Seo and I only really got to know each other this past year, but the funny thing is… she actually took a group photo for me during Hannah’s session last year — before we got to know each other well! Since then, I’ve learned she’s not just funny and adorable, but also incredibly smart. It’s hard not to love being around her.
And Jess — where do I even begin? We first met virtually during my PP1 year through an organization, and over time, she’s become one of the most influential people in my pharmacy school journey. From two posters together, to late-night Midyear convos, to all the little “yap sessions” in between — I don’t think I’d be where I am now without her constant support and generosity. She’s truly been one of my greatest support systems these past few years.
One of my favorite things about photographing friends is how game they are for anything — the sillier the pose or the more random the prompt, the more fun it becomes (and sometimes they one-up me with their own ideas 😂). We started the session at EMSOP and ended over on College Ave — and as if the day couldn’t get better, our amazing friend Ginny came along to help. She was the best assistant I could’ve asked for!
Jess and Seo — thank you for trusting me with your grad photos. It was such a joy to celebrate this milestone with you, and I’m going to miss you both so, so much.
And Ginny — I’m counting down the days ‘til your own session in two years!
So cute!
